QU Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Terrible place, very run down, most of the facilities offered didn’t work. The only good thing about the place is there are a few parking spots down the side of the hotel that have shade in the daytime, and the €17 breakfast is served till 11am . Booked as a couple, but because the check in desk is closed overnight ( you have to use a PIN code to get in after hours) they didn’t know she was a guest and charged her €28 for breakfast the next morning, we stormed out and just left a day early and stayed somewhere nicer and cheaper up the road!

So much wrong with this place. The reception desk is closed at the weekend evening and you have to remember a PIN code number to get back in later on Rude reception that give you no information, but they did apologize that most facilities were unavailable over the weekend The reception bar ( a drinks cabinet tucked in a corner) where you can help yourself to a bottle of wine for €20. Where as the same wine is available in the shell petrol station next door for only €10. The hot tub doesn’t work, the sauna on the roof doesn’t work, the gym is shut, the downstairs bar and restaurant were shut. We booked a suite for some privacy but the separate fencing between patios was broken . No facilities provided for using the kitchenette, no cooker, just a microwave, but upon further investigation was told we could have had knives and forks and plates supplied for another €20. We just ate at Burger King instead. No rubberplug for the bath so the water slowly drains out Such a disappointment place.

Große Zimmer. Gute Ausstattung. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Bequeme Betten. Innenstadt mit Straßenbahn gut zu erreichen.

In der Dusche war doch recht viel Schimmel an den Fliesen.

Mit der Straßenbahn schnell ins Centrum .Frühstück war auch sehr gut . Parkplatz war auch kostenlos vorhanden.

Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenden Straße.

The location

The hotel is a bit outdated and the room was very basic. The bed was only made on one side, which seemed unusual. The headboard showed significant signs of wear, with the paint peeling off from frequent use, which did not look very appealing. In addition, the photos shown during the booking process make the hotel appear much more modern than it actually is. Overall, the room did not quite match the expectations created by the pictures.
