Country 2 Coast Coffs Harbour Motor Inn

The room cleanliness needs to be improved! All others are acceptable.

We did not have a good experience at the Country Comfort Coffs Harbour. We were booked in for two nights, but left after only one. There was no wifi, even though it was advertised in property description. Apparently it is only in the reception area, and perhaps that should be noted in their property description. There was mould in our shower and on the bathroom ceiling. The blinds near the kitchen area would not work. The room smelt musty and it was not a nice place to be. We took some of these complaints up with the reception, only to be met with hostility from the male staff member at the time. At this point it was agreed that we would leave. In their defence, they were forthcoming with a refund. We also noticed that the room rates advertised in their own literature in the room, had been doubled for the night that we were there as there was an event in town. I realise that this happens very frequently, however, perhaps I would suggest such literature should be removed prior to arrival. We definitely do not recommend this property to anyone. This motel needs to lift their game to cater for the travellers passing through Coffs Harbour.

Staff and location was great, the problems we had were spiders in the room, queen bed and lounge bed were crap and I still have a bad back pain from sleeping on the queen bed. I won’t stay their again.

Awesome fun. Took two grandchildren to big banana. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The pillows were way to hard. And the shower water pressure was dismal. So next time I’ll bring my own pillow.

If you’re spending time at The Big Banana, it is a fantastic location at a great price. Great location for Coffs in general: less than 5 minutes to the Plaza, and close enough to the beaches.

Old fashioned decor but clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Nice hotel, the room was clean. The restaurant food was excellent.

Apartment rooms beds was so uncomfortable no aircondition in both rooms very hot and this is middle of winter
