Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport

You can’t been the convenience of this hotel right by the airport. I had a car but there is shuttle service. The place is a little dated but overall it was a convenient place to spend a night after a late flight.

We stayed here because of the airport shuttle and park and fly. The hotel is under construction, so that may explain the condition of the bathroom which was clean, but deteriorating. The rooms are fine. My kids loved the pool. Our shuttle to the airport was great. When we arrived back, we landed at the international arrivals. There was confusion about this at first, and then when I called back, I was told that it would be too confusing for the staff member to explain to the shuttle driver where we were and it was too far from where he was. Staff suggested we find alternate transit to the hotel (even though the shuttle was why we stayed in the first place . . .). We then sent two of our party back on foot to get our cars (at 11:30 pm). Luckily the hotel is super close, so that worked out. To their credit, I did get a call back, and the front desk eventually sent the shuttle but it was after we’d sent people on foot.

Terrible service and dirty hotel. Took over 30 minutes for shuttle to arrive following multiple calls. Staff was rude when questioned why it was taking so long - other hotels shuttle visited multiple times while I waited. Will not be returning.

The location was excellent for airport service. The shuttle service picked me up from the airport in a short amount of time, the shuttle location was convenient to baggage claim. They took me back to the airport the next morning and dropped me off at the gate within minutes. The room was comfortable, clean, and large. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay again when traveling. I didn't experience much of the hotel besides check-in and overnight stay, but everything was easy, quick, and convenient.

We came to Milwaukee to see a show at the Milwaukee Rep. I didn’t want to pay the downtown hotel rates for a room or parking, so we chose to stay near the airport. We have enjoyed staying at Hyatt properties in other places and thought we would give this location a try. The clerk at check in was friendly and quick. Our room was spacious and clean. My only complaints were that there was no microwave and the mattress wasn’t very comfortable. I could feel the springs and it seemed like it was sagging a bit. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, with eggs, sausages, and potatoes, a waffle station, assorted breads, and coffee and juices. The online check out wasn’t working at the time we left, so we stopped by the desk on our way out. For the price, this was a great value for what we got and I would go back.

They charged a $25 incidental fee up front that is supposed to be refunded. Our never qas for either atay. The so called bar/restaurant isnt ine. Its a few chairs abutting to the check in counter that serves a few drinks and microwaved foodm The only good thing I can say was the breakfast wasnt bad at all but doesnt start until 7 whixh is usually after most need to leave for a flight.

Great Breakfast from 6am to 9am! Very clean well kept up Breakfast area! Would come here again for sure! This is a hidden Gem!

We stayed at the Hyatt while visiting family, and it was a great "home base" while traveling throughout the city for family and holiday events. The indoor pool was a great amenity for my family with small kids; and the breakfast had a lot of options that made it easy to navigate allergens and preferences. The rooms were clean and a great, flexible set-up.

After a long delay arrived here a little after 10:00pm. Took a little bit to get the gentleman's attention working the desk and told me he was not on the clock. Once I told him we would have been there at 5 but were delayed he got up and checked me in. Room was quiet considering how close to the airport. beds were decent and breakfast was adequate. Room was very large and set up nice. furnishings a little beat up and dated. overall a decent stay.

(October 2025 – Wedding Weekend Experience) Our family stayed at Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport for my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding weekend, and unfortunately, it was one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences we’ve ever had. At check-in, I arrived with two small children (ages 4 and 5) and another adult. The kids were so excited to swim—but we found out only after getting to the pool that it was closed. No one mentioned this during booking or check-in, even though children’s ages were provided when reserving. The General Manager had personally confirmed in writing that the bride and matron of honor would have adjoining rooms. When they arrived, they were placed on separate floors and told nothing could be done—until my daughter showed the GM’s own email. Only then did he move them to the same floor (still not adjoining as promised). It got worse. The hotel allowed an unauthorized person to call in and make changes to the bride’s reservation—reducing her stay from two nights to one, effectively canceling her wedding-night room. That caller turned out to be my daughter’s brother’s fiancée, but the hotel had no way of knowing that—she was not on the reservation and should never have been permitted to make changes. Even more alarming, when her fiancé later arrived to “check into his room,” the hotel actually gave him a key to the bride’s room. That is a serious privacy and safety breach. When I went to the front desk to fix this (around 7:50 p.m.), I was told the GM had left for the night. The receptionist called him personally, and he said he was “at dinner with his family” and there was nothing he could do until morning—the morning of the wedding. When I said that wasn’t acceptable and that I’d contact the BBB, the GM reportedly said he “didn’t care” and to “go right ahead.” Only after that did the staff suddenly “find a way” to fix the canceled room. For a weekend that was supposed to be filled with joy and celebration, Hyatt made it stressful, frustrating, and completely unprofessional. Between the broken promises, privacy violations, and dismissive management, this was an incredibly disappointing experience.
