Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport

Hotel cleanliness was ok. Room furniture very dated and worn. Carpet felt grimy. (Bring socks) Ok for a quick overnight but nothing to write home about.

Conveniently located close to the airport. Nice and spacious room layout.

I do not recommend going here unless you want outdated, crusty rooms or customer service that is delayed and does not follow up with you. Upon our arrival, we were in a room that had a broken air conditioner, which was leaking onto its outlet. Thankfully, customer service did move us to new room immediately. However, the next day we learned that our new room was actually an out of order room. There was no explanation as to why, until I had to call and ask. After calling and being informed that it is not a threat to our safety, there was no follow up after that if we should move or not. I needed my room to get tax exempt and on the state rate for work. This was agreed-upon before I made the reservation. But it was not reflected on the receipt when I received it a day later. Instead, I received someone else’s receipt with their private information on it. When I asked the front desk, they delayed providing me with an updated receipt. I then called the manager about my concern which was finally fixed a whole day after.

It's been a humid summer, and window ac units clearly aren't cutting it in most hotels. There was kind of a musty smell, which was dealt with by using a febreeze type spray. It worked! The folks currently working at this Hyatt are fantastic. They seem to be having a great time and get along well. Only bad thing was that the pool was closed. We think this may have been related to the flooding issues that Milwaukee suffered a week before our trip.

Despite the sketchy feeling exterior, the interior had been updated and was clean. The room lacked outlets for todays tech savvy world that has a number of electronics that needed charging. Parking is lacking. Arrive early and don't leave if you want to keep your spot. Breakfast was actually better than anticipated the first morning.

Shuttle running between airport and hotel was quick to reply to our phone call for pickup. All the employees we interacted with were friendly, helpful and professional in appearance and manner.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Enough space for everyone.

Loved breakfast, the location, gym and friendly staff. Although greater care and attention to cleaning daily and cleaning rooms when persons leave. I found belongings of previous persons in the room. Otherwise, the staff is awesome and place were perfect. I will recommend here to anyone; just focus more on thorough cleaning.
