Hotel Divisadero Barrancas

This hotel is charming in many ways, but the windowless room we were initially assigned in the old section reeked of kerosene from the previous night, and was totally unacceptable. After some discussion, we were offered a room with a lack of view, but was habitable. The only rooms is the old section that looked appealing were Rooms 7-10. The dinner and breakfast were pretty good. The views are amazing. If we had been assigned a room in the new block, it would have been a different experience.

We had accommodation in the older block at this hotel which were definitely in need of renovation. The hotel is set in a very dry, arid region and water is precious, so expect underwhelming tepid showers! There is no wifi in the bedrooms. The views from the lounge and restaurant are stunning. The food is a set menu and very average but adequate.

The location, The guide Martin who took us for a walk was excellent.

The Food was near uneatable, the Bar and restaurant staff didn’t care, living off its location. Needs new management with a better attitude and know how to make guests feel welcome with better Food!!

The location is everything. The views exceptional

Desk clerk who checked us in was incredibly rude and accusatory. Claimed that we hadn’t paid for one breakfast for our party. I paid for it in cash, but then when I reviewed my booking I had paid for it. Prices for dinner meal were incredibly inflated. Server and bartender were very efficient and friendly.
