Best Western Plus Hotel Elixir Grasse

Very nice and modern hotel. Great breakfast and even has a gym though limited equipment. Bike, elliptical, treadmill and rowing machine. Plenty of parking - not ideal if you want to walk around though.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The weather for our stay (mid Nov) was excellent but this meant our room was uncomfortably warm. We were told that the air-conditioning did not work once summer was over and that the only way to reduce the temperature was to open the window. This meant we were subjected to considerable external noise; not conducive to a good night's sleep! Initially our room safe did not work properly. It was quickly replaced - but I am a little wary when such items can be moved so easily! Although this was a perfectly adequate hotel and served our purpose well, I feel that a 4 Star rating is slightly over generous.

would have been 5's all the way if they had food during the day, a more british-friendly menu and the wooden floor in my room was a bit grubby but I wore the slippers provided so not so bad. Staff were amazing especially the slim brunette on reception really helpful.

The hotel was clean and easy to find. Service (for my limited needs) was find. Overall, a functional but unspectacular place. As you would expect.

The hotel was generally ok, the staff were lovely, the setting tranquil but... The room was really quite small for 2 people, the food choices in the evenings were bizarre and in the evenings mice ran around the terrace area. Grasse as a town was quaint but is easily done as a day trip, I'd stay elsewhere and visit for a day.

We planned to travel to other cities and used this hotel as our base. It is a bit hard to find, and the breakfast was pricey, therefore, we chose to eat at McDonald's close by. The WIFI was spotty, but it was free. Shampoo and soap were in one dispenser that was hard to work. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. There was ample free parking.

Received upgrade to larger room. Staff very nice;all fluent in English.Overall a very nice stay and buffet breakfast was good. Free onsite parking was appreciated.

shower products really poor for a 4 star hotel where we would expect nice shampoo, gel, cream, especially in Grasse!!!!
