Weekend visit for traditional pre Christmas shop denied to us last year (and almost this year with the new restrictions) Functional hotel, well positioned. Difficult access to car park this visit due to new one way system and access roads blocked by Christmas markets. No UK TV channels as usual. For us it's a winter hotel due to lack of air conditioning. The nearby Ibis Budget is far superior accommodation / breakfast etc but not available on hotel.com for some reason.
The room was stiflingly hot with no a/c or fan and if the windows were opened the noise of the traffic was too loud. Consequently we got no sleep
NO Air con , disappointing because it was 30 degrees . Great location for bars and restaurants though .
This is a very basic hotel. Rooms are tiny with no air con, fridge or kettle. The room was clean but overall impression of hotel was tired and needed upgrading. On the plus side, it is in a good location next the cathedral and close to the main town square. Good private parking. We did not eat in hotel but had a few drinks in the bar which was fine.

Slight confusion on checking in. But all resolved. St Omer is delightful and the hotel was warm and cosy and very adequate. The carpets and wall decor in the hotel corridors and rooms is somewhat tired and needs a redecoration, but the place is good value for money in a very interesting town. However I was going to be given a ground floor room. not wanted due to noise etc. Would stay here again.
As always a good quick break, had dinner in the restaurant..... very nice. Only down side is hotel car park too small and people do tend to double park.
St Omer is an interesting old town and the hotel is in an excellent location in the city centre. The parking is good.
