Great location we overlooked courtyard/car park so quiet at night. Continental breakfast good. Bed clean, nice linen and comfortable
Perfect position right in the centre of St Omer, next to the beautiful cathedral and one minute walk from the main square, shops and restaurants. A small town with character, cobbled streets, a good centre for visiting the region (La Coupole and Eperlecques, both World War 2 German bomb launch facilities, both very moving, and the various World War 1 cemeteries and memorials, plus beautiful villages in Flanders) Hotel was easy to find with satnav and just 30 minutes from Eurotunnel at Coquelles. Although central, our room overlooking the courtyard / car park was very quiet. Room was compact with a separate en-suite shower and toilet - this was also quite compact but perfectly adequate, although the shower control was a simple lever which turned left and right and easily went hot or cold if nudged. We asked for a rubber bath mat to avoid slipping in the shower but reception said none available so caution required as no grab rail on the shower wall yet a small step to get in and out. Breakfast was an extra charge, buffet, good variety of bread, croissants, some cereals, cold meat and boiled eggs. Breakfast waitress in particular was very pleasant and efficient.
It's an IBIS so they are all pretty much the same. There was a good selection for breakfast, and some fruit is provided to takeaway after breakfast which is a nice touch.

This is our third stay in this hotel, perfect location.
Comfortable room in the IBIS, good double and a single as well. Powerful and hot shower, and strong and fast Wifi signal. The hotel is very well situated just a minute or so's walk from the town square with lots of bars and restaurants. Would have been good to have a kettle in the room, and we did have to wait about 10 minutes for someone to arrive to checkin, but these are minor points. Getting a taxi from the hotel to the local airfield on Sunday morning (for our flight home) proved to be difficult, but eventually the hotel did find someone to collect us.
Room was tiny, infact so small you could not move without banging in to something. Have stayed at this hotel before actually in this room and it was a spacious family room, however would now appear to be two doubles.
We are regular visitors to this hotel. It suits us very well. We need an accessible room and shower not bath, the ones available are good. Breakfast is very adequate, secure parking and friendly reception staff.
Room small and needs air con when the weather is hot.
