The outside of the ibis Dole was undergoing some upgrade of the roof and possibly a repaint so there was scaffolding erected around the hotel. Inside had been refurbished so everywhere was nice and clean. Room not the largest ibis we have stayed in but was comfortable. We arrived during the heatwave and the rooms airconditioning was excellent. Nice and quiet which was essential due to the temps being mid 30s. Bed and pillows were very comfy, and decent ensuite with shower and plenty of hot water.Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant . 2 course 20 euros or 3 course for 25 euros. Not a huge choice but was good quality. Close to motorway and we used it as an overnight stop from Calais to the Alps. Would stay again.

Goed gelegen hotel voor een stopover. Een verzorgd Ibis hotel. Dole een mooie, gezellige stad om de avond door te brengen.

Selected this Ibis as it was conveniently located mileage wise on our journey south. Even though it was situated on an edge of town retail park, it had a good, safe free parking area, a pleasant outdoor grassed seating area to enjoy drinks and lovely tubs of flowers. We decided to eat in the restaurant and it was a very good experience. The breakfast had a nice variety of produce as usual.

Excellent hotel, very quiet even though it was full of people by night's end. I thought we were mostly alone until I looked out at the parking lot at 10pm. Full restaurant and bar is really nice addition. Staff was really helpful.

Not amazing when you come and find the parking is always full, when they promised that there is a free parking. Then it is not sound proof between the rooms and the corridors, very noisy to sleep.

Good location and very pleasant reception and eating area with good food very much up to Ibis standard. However wifi was poor and defective although fixed on day 3. Welcome complimentary drink had to be asked for and not delivered with usual Ibis hospitality. Bed mattress was broken with one side hanging off. Heating was good and refurbishing work was mostly non interfering. We have often stayed here before because of its location but it does not match other Ibis hotels.
