Key West Inn - Fairhope

The room was modern and clean. Also quiet.

The exterior facilities made me not want to touch things like hand rails and made me worry about what the room would be like and if I had made a mistake. Most of the exteriors, sidewalks, stairs, stairwells, hand rails were filthy or the paint was chipped or missing entirely. Right at the main stairwell to go to your room was a bunch and I mean bunch of junk, ie floor mopping buckets, old furniture, etc. Everything you would not want to see right before going to your room. Even though our room was clean, we would not return.

Clean, good shower, friendly staff. My husband has bad knees and back, so the nice lady at the front desk changed us to the 1st level at the last minute.

No curtain on the window, so the light from the patio was a little bright.

The room was large and there was no carpet! Huge comfortable bed with wonderful pillows. Picturesque facades with easy access, nice seating areas and the pool looked immaculate. Pet friendly and overall nice and quiet. Very neat little antique craft store next door.

The lights outside the windows are very bright and the pull down thin white shade did nothing to darken room at night and there were no heavy black out style curtains. If you need dark to sleep you won't get it here unless you're in the rooms in the corners, those looked a bit less bright. Also I didn't have my bathing suit...bummer, I wanted to enjoy a moonlight dip in that amazing pool!

Hotel owners obviously take pride in their hotel and went out of their way to be friendly, greet us and offer us supplies as needed. Attractive hotel and great location for our needs. Food for purchase is close by.

Breakfast was lacking to standard hotel fare, but more options could have been offered.

The location, receptionist was very professional. Room was clean and comfortable

I absolutely love coming to Key West Inn in Fairhope. It is friendly, clean and always amazing.
