Location and breakfast were excellent. Easy access to the beach and promenade. Varied buffet breakfast with plenty of options for adults & children. We loved the heated pool and appreciated that loungers & towels were provided as well as life guard service. The beach cafe is a great place to be in the evening to watch the sun set. The whole hotel was very clean and all staff were extremely polite, friendly & helpful.

The air con throughout the hotel was barely working. The weather was very hot during our visit and the communal hotel areas and restaurant were uncomfortably hot. Eating dinner in the main restaurant was quite unpleasant. I was surprised that hotel parking for guests was not free. Over €30 for 2 nights felt wrong when paying so much already. The room was small and the towels in the bathroom were thin and not replaced. The aircon in the room was also not very powerful (sleeping was just bareable). Large expensive TV, would have been nice to be able to connect to devices or use Netflix app etc.

The location by the sea is pleasant, and the hotel may work for guests looking for a very simple beach stay. However, the overall experience felt significantly below what would normally be expected from a four-star Novotel property.

The hotel appears to be operating with a volume of guests that the infrastructure and staff are not fully able to accommodate. Public areas, restaurants and bars often felt overwhelmed, with long waiting times and very limited attention from staff. On several occasions, tables remained unattended for extended periods, and even basic requests such as cutlery for a child’s meal became surprisingly difficult to obtain. While the staff were clearly under pressure, interactions sometimes felt abrupt simply due to the level of overload. Another major issue was the lack of enforcement of the non-smoking policy. Guests were smoking close to the rooms and balconies, and because the air conditioning in the room was functioning very poorly, it was difficult to keep the windows closed. As a result, cigarette smoke regularly entered the room, which was particularly unpleasant for a family stay.

Pas de clim dans le restaurant et très léger dans la chambre vu cette chaleur ...!!! Mauvaise expérience
