Our stay was so lovely. The staff treated us like gold and our room was gorgeous and comfortable. The food at the Grill was delicious and the morning breakfast spread is unmatched for us. Loch Lomand is a beautiful place to visit. We highly recommend the Cameron House.

We ate at the tavern which was full of bugs and had terrible service. We had to swat wasps away from our indoor table and there were gnats flying in our drinks. Service was slow even though it wasn't busy. For example, they brought a drink ordered when dinner was delivered after they cleared our dinner plates. We had to go up to the bar to fill our water glasses because the wait staff came by infrequently. We stayed in a suite, but there were no sheets available for the pull-out bed in the room. The front desk was slow to respond (>45 min) after 2 phone calls. After walking there in person, we were informed there is no housekeeping on site after 7 pm. A kind valet helped us put sheets on the bed for our child. Finally, the bathroom is poorly designed. There is a rain shower head with no shower door, very close to the toilet with poor drainage which means your feet will be in a puddle when you sit on the toilet. The views of Loch Lomond are excellent and the mansion house is stately. The highlight of the stay was our falconry session with Graham.

This is a good hotel, but certainly not cheap. Situated on Loch Lomond, makes it ideal for the views alone. This is a large hotel, and while the staff were polite and helpful, it felt a little rushed and frantic at times and the intimacy a 5* hotel should provide was a little lost. It feels like a US interpretation of how a 5* hotel should be and those don’t necessarily resonate with a British tourist. I won’t lie, I was expecting a lot from this hotel, and I left feeling a little disappointed.

The hotel was excellent and set in a stunning location! The services were great, there is plenty to do and see. The staff were exceptional in all aspects and made our stay even better. We really enjoyed the food and drink and found it to be of a high standard. Overall our stay here was great and would happily come back. I highly recommend a visit!

Beautiful location Stunning hotel… decor, views, service! We throughly enjoyed our stay in Cameron House. Our room was luxurious with everything we needed for our a relaxing break. We enjoyed to use of the swimming pool and there were many beautiful walks in the grounds.
