It obviously had been refurbished recently with a wing undergoing renovations, outside looking vintage by the design of the building! Staff were friendly and helpful Plenty of parking

Waiting too long for our hot drinks we ordered on day of our departure but this was due to milk in machine running out and guy had to deal with it

A bit shabby - hotel furniture and bathroom could do with updating

Value for money and location

Bed frame had split leaking out wool like contents all over the floor and bed. Called reception 5 times at 10pm with no one picking up. Told reception next morning including showing photos of the bed and was told it would be fixed urgently during the day. Got back late that night to find nothing had been done, filler still all over the floor and the room had not been touched or cleaned by housekeeping. Had to go to reception to ask for more loo roll.

We're stayed here a few times. Always a lovely experience, staff are always cheerful and helpful. Also very good for catering for my husband who is a coeliac. Very close to the Anvil theatre where we had a show booked
