All the front desk staff (I met 4 of them) were super friendly and helpful. It is very clean.

It is a basic place in a converted old section of the train station. Not purpose built, but convenient and noise wasn’t a factor either. The simplicity of the hotel is reflected in the price.

Die direkte Lage am.Hbf Bichum war sehr gut; das Frühstück war frisch und sehr lecker

Im 1. Zimmer ging der Fernseher leider gar nicht. Im 2. Zimmer, in welches ich umziehen durfte, ging der Fernseher zwar - aber statt der angezeigten vielen Kanäle konnte ich tatsächlich nur 4 Kanäle anwählen. Daher bei Ausstattung der Zimmer ein leichter Abstrich in der Bewertung.

Very convenient location if you arrive by train or bus, right at Bochum Hbf. The room was decent and the AC was effective, which is very important during the summer as the room got hot otherwise. Breakfast was acceptable, same as other hotels in the chain.

Due to being right on the station, there was some noise from outside during the night (and some in the corridors of the hotel itself as well). There was a non-stop beeping sound from something outside, not too loud but slightly annonying. The shower door was slightly broken so the water flooded over to the bathroom floor quite a lot. The day I arrived, the staff looked extremely uninterested in my existence and took their time to process the check-in, though on other days the staff was generally friendly.
