ibis Angers Centre Château

The hotel room was adequate, plenty of space & clean. Ideal for a 3 night stop over. They are rebuilding the roads in that area so the arrival on the first night was not easy & first thoughts was one night is enough but actually the second night was really easy as you go directly to the public car park which is 50 M from the hotel,only €2 & really easy to access. The restaurant is great, the food is excellent, the waiter was very helpful if you’re anEnglishman!! Will visit again!!

Great reception, handy to old town, storage for my velo, staff were outstanding. Everything was really outstanding.

We stayed here for one night will on a road trip through this part of France. It was super convenient (walkable) to everything in town and a short drive to the historic sites in the surrounding area. Parking was right out front and we didn't have to pay and check in was easy - just had to go to the adjacent bar. The room was small but clean and comfortable with a nice shower and wifi and we would recommend it for anyone staying in town.

Ok for one night. Wouldn't stay longer.

This is the only hotel I have stayed in where they think 27'c is to cold to turn on the air con The stairwell was so badly maintained that the safety grip strips were all lifting up and my son got his foot caught and luckily fell up the stairs and not down Plus sides the surrounding area is amazing and the staff were very helpful

Decent hotel with a great location on the edge of downtown near the river. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. No complaints, was perfect for my stay.

This is a modern hotel, part of a French hotel chain. It is clean and functional. Everything worked fine. I had a room facing an interior garden (not part of the hotel)so my room was quiet. The mattress on the bed was alright but fairly thin so that it seemed rather firm -- some might like it that way. The room which was for 2 (two twin beds) was fine for one, but would have been small for two friends travelling together. The bathroom (shower only) was very clean, as was the room. The full breakfast costs 16 Euros, but it was copious. Finally, the staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a street next to the park which borders the river Maine and, although it is a climb from there up the hill to the cathedral and to the magnificent fortress of Angers, it is a short climb and the hotel is well located for tourism or for business in the center city of Angers. Recommended for adequate and functional accomadation at a reasonable price. Those seeking luxury should look elsewhere.

The location of this hotel is great, an easy walk to the centre of town, restaurants and bars. The room felt a bit like a college dormitory with cheap wood setting and floors. Very basic amenities and only shower towels provided, no hand towels or face clothes which would have been nice. Not bad for a short stop over if you want to be close to town.

They welcomed us very late night and the hotel was clean. The location was good, but was very loud even after midnight. The hotel didn't have any amenities, it was kind of embarrassing. Overall, not that bad choice staying one night.
