We stayed Christmas night whilst visiting family in Derby and got to the hotel at night. It's very very tricky navigating your way around a large roundabout and at night was essentially hard. The receptionist was very sympathetic and helpful when we arrived. Be aware you have to pay extra for parking. The shower was lovely and the décor in the room was a little dated with wooden panelling. Overall it was okay.

Stayed here whilst visiting family over the Christmas period and it was really convenient. Great service, really helpful staff, Zaina was lovely and very helpful at breakfast.

Our server for dinner was Maja who was excellent helpful cheerful and efficient she is a credit to your company. Also the person who booked us in was also a credit to your company greeted us with a smile .

Nothing - it was perfect

We stayed for a night at East Midlands Hilton with our miniature schnauzer Oscar over the Christmas period. We had a lovely check in with a treat bag for Oscar which included a ball, treats and waste bags. There was also a doggie station at reception with food, water and doggie treats. We also received complimentary glasses of Prosecco on arrival. The room was a double with a sofa bed which would suit a family with children. The room was spacious with everything you would need and very helpful staff for anything you had forgotten. The bathrooms and decor might need a bit of an upgrade in a few years, the beds were comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and had a colouring station with crayons and Christmas pictures for the children along with sweets and candy canes. If you had forgotten to mail Santa's there was a helpful letter template and post box straight to the North Pole. The hotel has a large pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi along with a well equipped gym. Breakfast had a continental style area and a hot buffet. The chef Sunil, cooked a fresh omelette for us. There was a separate breakfast area set aside so Oscar could join us and he was well looked after with his own bowl of water and kibble as well as head pats being provided by all the staff. While we didn't have dinner we were reliably informed he would have had his own area so he could join us for dinner too without disturbing the other diners. Suzy, Charlie, Leah and Sunil were all super pleasant, accommodating and hospitable at breakfast and should be commended for their great service. I would recommend a stay here.
