Children under the age of 12 years are not allowed to stay with guests in any of the Suites. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please note that children 12 and under may use the pool during the hours of 9am and 10am only. Children aged 13 and above may enjoy the swimming pool at anytime. Please pre-book if you intend on using the brasserie and spa. When booking the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate the reservation will include GBP 32.50 per person per day to spend on food in the restaurant. For the comfort of guests, please be advised that children aged 10 years and under may not dine in The Brasserie after 18:00 each evening. Families with children are welcome to eat in Gershwin’s Bar each evening and to select from either Gershwin’s bar menu or the Brasserie menu. Please note that the card used for booking will be pre-authorized for GBP 1 prior to arrival. This is applicable for all reservations including guests paying with cash. The hotel requires at least one guest in each bedroom to be aged 18 years and above and reserves the right to ask guests for valid photo ID. A maximum of two guests are permitted to occupy any one bedroom. Any stay proposed for longer than 28 consecutive nights will automatically terminate after 28 days and will need to be rebooked with the hotel as a new booking.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Great location and facilities"

Location was great, very easy walk into the city. Parking was very easy as there’s public car parks very close, but I managed to get a space in hotel car park. Spa facilities were excellent and grateful that the room had a mini fridge for cold drinks.

We took advantage of a last minute treatment in the spa that was on offer at check out time, but we were’t allowed to arrange a slightly later check out to go and freshen up for the journey home afterwards. We asked but they said they would have to charge, which was a shame. Tried to call reception and spa from the room a couple of times on first day but no answer so had to go down in person to ask question, which was fine.

"Great Location"

Location is great for walking into the city. Staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

We had a small room on the 2nd floor with a velux window so no view. The room seemed a little tired.

"More than adequate for what we wanted"

Hotel is in a great location, just outside the bhussle and bustle but close enough to all restaurants and shops. Breakfast at hotel is sufficient without being great.

Classic rooms are dark with little frsh air as small window which made the room very warm

The room was fine with good facilities. The shower was fabulous. I believe I was upgraded to a Club room but I never found it! (see below) The breakfast was really good and I liked the dining room very much. I had a treatment in the Spa which was absolutely blissful.

I did not like the idea of a 3rd floor room (upgrade which I didn't ask for). I failed to find it due to confusing layout of rooms, returned to reception and asked for a room closer to the actual hotel facilities. This was fine but then my TV did not work - however, a helpful staff member got it working for me. There was no shower cap.
