We were very happy nice big rooms newly built

Central to the expressways. Staff that checked me in were excellent polite and efficient.

I woke at 6 am with a terrible headache I called the front desk immediately to request an additional day. While they were happy to accommodate, I had to move rooms?? It is unclear why because at 6 AM there were multiple rooms just like the one I am staying in available on Booking.com and at noon today when I dragged myself out with luggage and feeling still unwell, there is still multiple rooms exactly as I was in available on Booking.com. Why they couldn’t allow me to keep my own room. I will never know, but that is very poor customer service. Shame on you I’m travelling across the country and I will not stay in another best western.

The room is pretty good. And the receptionist was a nice lady. Gave us the quiet room taking into account that this hotel is right on the road. So that was good.

I hate this LED lamps in the room. It is so cold, not cozy. I just do not understand why hotel owners do it. One of the reasons I hate staying in such hotels. Can you use yellow warm lamps to create this warm nice feeling? Is it too expensive or what? It is written - good breakfast. It is a regular cheap breakfast with very low quality food. Sorry. Never it eat. But I know there are people who like it. My kids couldn’t drink even “juice” The second reason I do not like staying in such hotels.

I stayed at Kamloops and Abbotsford both were very comfortable, clean and safe. I had a great sleep and the food was great as well.

The staff were nice and the room was clean.

The beds were hard and the pillows were worse. Like rocks. The tub didn't drain and the toilet ran constantly. No sound proofing between the floors and you ckuld hear the noisy guest upstairs as well as the water in the pipes all night.
