AmeriStay Inn St Joseph

It was a great size room for my few days stay. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I forgot to pack a few things to get ready for the day and they were more than helpful to let me use some of their items. If I ever come through town again I will be staying here. Thank you Ameristay for your hospitality!

Room was filthy, attendant was rather disconnected re. Professional w us. Tub and toilet were dirty upon arrival. Towels were stained. No coffee maker in room. Will Not stay there on return trip in April. Over priced especially for being run down and no updates. Chair in room and behind bedside table were filthy dirty!! Poor management!

It didn't bode well when staff would only interact with me through a teller window and lobby was kept locked (at ~4p). The room was sad: filthy (dirt caked, burn marks) arm chair, signs of (hopefully past) bedbugs on the mattresses, severely water damaged TV stand, and the Toiletries appeared used. The dead bolt was broken off. All the motel notices urge you strongly to keep the deadbolt latched and to leave no valuables in the car. Even on the side furthest from the interstate it's very loud. Ended up eating the cost and staying elsewhere.

Convenient

Had to pay extra for my husband when we rented a double room that sleeps 4 people but our reservation was only for one person when I booked with hotel.com. The room was not clean walls looked like they had stuff smeared on them. The bathroom had black mold growing in it. The bathroom door had duck tape holding it together and couldn’t even shut the door all the way. None of the electrical outlets worked properly the one by the tv had a short in it and wouldn’t stay connected. This is definitely a pay by the hour hotel would not recommend staying here again

Not cleanest, lady sleeping in her car outside our rm!! Brft very sparse and not ready on time, got some bad coffee!

Just about everything. No WIFI , Poor breakfast, loud all night long between Semi's going by and other tenants up until 2am, and lastly some other tenants clothes were in our room in a dresser drawer with the coffee maker and the hostess acted like it was no big deal. 😑 Outlets looked burnt, lights broken or didn't work, tenants had a BBQ right next to the fire extinguisher and the pool was a monstrosity!
