Days Inn by Wyndham Bay City

After paying for the room and driving hours with family and dogs, the hotel was closed when we got there. It had been closed for days but that information was not available online.

Ahhh it was nothing crazy about it

Very old and just not a fresh feeling there

Didn't like that the property said it had a back up generator but didn't have power

The staff n cleaniness

Property looked much worse than online pictures

No electricity after storm- hot, no hot water, no tv, why no generator?????

Property was nice. There were 2 rows of cars parked in the grass on the rear of the property that were obviously not guests.

The room was a good size and had a much larger than average refrigerator, and 2 out of the 3 clerks i dealt with were very nice despite the lack of professionalism.

The clerk jessica was extremely rude and unhelpful. Rather than help me with my reservation, she told me to go to google to book a room. When checking in the evening of the next day, the clerk was very unprofessional and was cursing quite a bit. The check in and check out both took over 30 minutes and they wouldn't give me a room without my spouse's ID as well. I currently have an ankle injury awaiting surgery and was still put on the second floor that is only accessible by some very questionable stairs. The room itself had no secondary lock and no door card, the furniture looked to be from the early 90s and was extremely uncomfortable, and the hideabed had stains all over the mattress. For breakfast, oh wait. There was none even though they had a nice big kitchen in a separate building.

They took my money and I arrived to the property and they were closed
