Best Western Plus Villa Del Lago Inn Patterson

Not enough towels for all guests. No pool towels at all, was told to air dry since it was hot outside. Ran out of food for breakfast. Marijuana smell and dirty bedding. No housekeeping service even after requested. Fire alarm going off and waking up baby, was told to just disconnect it. Guest’s checked in occupied rooms. Manager not helpful. Did not make herself visible to assist. Rude and unprofessional. Hung up call over the phone. Promised compensation nonetheless did not follow through. Called corporate and was told there is nothing they can do.

They've added a weekend bar in the dining area since last year.

June is a rotten time to visit the area due to the heat. While not something the motel can control, the transformer serving businesses in the area blew on Friday evening. No A/C, no elevator, no ice machine, etc. Utility had it repaired by 11:30p, but the ice machine and one elevator were out of commission again by Sunday morning.

Location good and no noise from freeway.

The gym. I specifically wanted to workout in the morning but the weight machine has broken cable system or not installed properly....it should be removed or repaired or at least a sign on it to prevent injury
