At 8:53 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, members of my Girl Scout troop witnessed what appeared to be a domestic violence incident at the hotel. One of my chaperones (Room 220) contacted me in distress after several Girl Scouts gathered in Room 217 reported hearing a serious disturbance coming from the adjacent Room 219. According to the girls and the chaperone, a guest and members of his family were yelling, using profane language, and possibly throwing objects, as loud thuds were heard alongside statements such as, "Shut the f*** up." Because our Girl Scouts were occupying the room directly next door, I immediately instructed my chaperone to call 911. While she was speaking with law enforcement, I notified our EF Tours Tour Director of the situation. At 9:09 p.m., the Tour Director sent the following text message: "Thanks, at desk talking to Ortezia at the desk. She called Room 219 to give them a first warning. If it occurs again tonight and she is told, they get a second warning. Third time they are ejected. Still no sign of police." At 9:24 p.m., the Tour Director provided the following update: "4 officers arrived and talked to the guests in 219. Two just left and said it was resolved." While I greatly appreciate the efforts our Tour Director has made to address the numerous issues we have encountered since arriving on Monday, June 1, 2026, the conditions at this hotel are unacceptable. Particularly concerning was a comment made by hotel employee Ortezia, who indicated that police responses to this property are often delayed. She explained that on a previous occasion, officers took more than ten minutes to respond to an active fight in which property was being damaged. She further stated that she expected the response to this incident to be even slower because law enforcement would not consider it an emergency. These comments raise serious concerns regarding the safety and security of guests staying at this property. In just three nights, our troop has experienced multiple significant safety incidents, including unauthorized room access that raised concerns about potential human trafficking tactics, late-night disturbances involving hotel staff, and now a police response to a violent verbal altercation occurring directly next to rooms occupied by minors. No group of children should be exposed to these conditions while traveling under the expectation of a safe and secure lodging environment. The pattern of incidents we have experienced demonstrates a troubling lack of security and guest safety at this hotel. This experience has been unacceptable and has left our troop, chaperones, and families deeply concerned about the safety of the accommodations provided during this trip.

The location is hard to find. There were homeless people around the property. People sitting out front smoking and looking suspicious. It was a work stay motel. Bad smell soon as we walked in. My grand daughter started gaging. We couldn't stay because of the Horrible odor.

Please beware and stay here only if you literally have NO other options or if there is a complete overhaul! This hotel is along the same corridor (White Bluff & Abercorn) as several other chains and appears on the site to be on par with the others in terms of ratings and price. But please, don't be fooled!!! We typically stay at the Fairfield Inn Midtown which is always clean and completely "on-point", but not this nightmare! Firstly, we needed a room with two beds and were put in an accessible room on the first floor. We would not have minded, but the tub chair in the roll-in shower was not at all clean and we felt sorry for those who needed to use it. The bathroom was filthy! There was literal black mold on the ceiling, the floor had clear ground-in filth and the corners had dirt and mold. What's worse, when we finally got to our room to sleep at about 10 PM there was a man using an extremely loud industrial vacuum on the carpet in the hallway- at 10 PM!!! To sum up this hotel is a dirty mess. The lobby is dated and appears unkempt. The room was flat-out nasty. It scares me to think about what was ground into the carpet! Fortunately, Expedia was amazing and got our second night credited back and we were free to leave int he morning! Please take my word, the pics. online are very deceiving. Horrible hotel very close to many other great choices, avoid at all costs!

Everthing was great the staff was great the room are clean and location was wonderfull close to the malls and restruants

The pool and hot tub were nice. The Jets weren’t working on the hot tub and it could use a little renovation, but besides that it was nice. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was there were sheer curtains on 1/2 of the windows so light came in all night and it would really bother some people who aren’t early risers. The breakfast wasn’t that great, but there was plenty of bagels or cereal. If you don’t like the hot food I don’t remember her name, but when we checked in around 3 PM the lady at the front desk was awesome. You could tell she really loved her job and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. She was probably the best asset to the hotel.
