Quality Inn South Bend near Notre Dame

Price was fair compared to other places. Location was central and easy to access. Property has been recently remodeled and the rooms are fairly decent. Shower stalls could use an upgrade, however new flooring and fixtures are nice.

First night room had an abundance of bugs. Moved to another room and the TV didn't work. First attempt by front desk help couldn't fix it. Was told everyone was down. Knew that wasn't true since my sister was in a room four doors down and had TV. Next day the girl at the front desk got it working. Breakfast was minimalist. A sign in the front lobby indicates taking food to your room incurs a $15 charge. Consequently, everybody eats in the parking lot, and throws their trash on the ground.

The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. The new toilet was not caulked to the floor so it rocked when you sat on it

There was nothing I liked about the property. The whole building stinks, the rooms stink and are not in the best condition.

EVERYTHING! It was terrible.
