Catalina Inn

Not much to say under construction, broken picnic table could be replaced easily. Not told about breakfast.

The good: Hotel clerk was very pleasant The bad: Hotel was under construction and we were not aware. Carpet down hallway was taped down in some areas and torn up in others. Rooms 1 & 2: Curtains were shredded from what looks like an animals claw. The walls were splattered with filth. Front desk didn't have extra pillows. Room 1: microwave didn't work, door was hard to open due to doorknob not working properly, mold in caulk of tub, dresser missing knob, bathroom wall missing chunk of drywall. Room 2: A/C would turn off every few hours, no tv remote in room, Bathroom towel rack broken.

They are renovating the rooms with new furniture but not anything else. Breakfast is a joke.

Great last minute stay. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was very clean and comfortable.

For an older hotel is was clean, rooms were very comfortable.
