Close to bus stop fir edinburgh

Lift broken. We were on 2nd floor had to drag our suitcase up two flights. Breakfast was poor. At night a lot of drinks in bar not available. Hotel was dated

"Nice comfortable stay away from the busy city with good public transport links if needed."

Nice swimming pool and gym. Location had good transport link into the main city centre.

"Op fietsafstand van Edinburgh alle rust en comfort"

Rustige ligging buiten stadskern. Professioneel, vlot en hartelijk onthaal - flikkerende lamp in hotelgang werd op ons aangeven snel vervangen. Ruime en veilige parkeergelegenheid. Ontbijt is gevarieerd, er is ook klein maar gevarieerd lunch/dineraanbod. Hotel ligt op fietsafstand van Edinburgh, Leith, Dean, ... - fietsbanen zijn goed aangegeven (toeristische highlights goed bereikbaar mits wat klimwerk)

Ga tijdig ontbijten (Vóór 8u) of heb wat geduld - als er buslading toeristen moet vertrekken kan ontbijt chaotisch zijn en kan personeel niet tijdig genoeg afruimen en aanvullen. Badkamers zijn aan de kleine kant. Hier en daar merk je dat gebouw wat 'uitgeleefd' raakt, maar dat kan niet anders met de hopen bezoekers die hier langs komen. Je merkt dat het geheel goed onderhouden wordt - er zijn dus geen klachten over hygiëne

"Great Leonardo hotel"

Reception was clean, staff were super friendly even though it was 11pm. They chatted to me very genuinely! My room was clean and also much bigger than I'd anticipated. Then the room was quiet, cosy bed and great bathroom, and hot breakfast was ready by 6.30am. Checkout was easy as was getting an invoice.

Staff in the hotel were great. Leisure Club, not so great

The whole hotel is a bit tired, looking a bit shabby, lift broken and dingy corridors. Pigeons nesting on roof next to.our room window.
