Le Cep is an extraordinary spot in the magical town of Beaune. As our "HQ" during a recent trip tasting wines throughout the Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits, Le Cep made sure all of our needs were addressed and our state was amazing. The staff are exceptional, knowledgable and gracious; always there with a smile to ensure your stay is incredible. The rooms are a combination of quaint and elegant sophistication. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the region!

Lovely surroundings, thoughtful extras, and vintage style added up to a wonderfully comfortable and stress-free stay in Beaune. Loved our cozy, clean room, warm spa robes, the bountiful petit déj, and the ease of getting out of the hotel's parking lot near the edge of the old town for sightseeing. The furnishings are tastefully venerable, and the whole vibe is delightfully Burgundian. My only caveat: the water pressure in our bath was robust, and the extra European shower heads were a surprising reveille the first morning. ;-) The location can't be beat for visiting the ramparts, market squares, and the Hospices de Beaune. Above all, we appreciated Le Cep's friendly, helpful people. Everyone from front desk to valets and servers in the breakfast room were so kind. (Shout out to Aurélie for arranging dinner reservations for us! Merci mille fois pour les recos.) In short, if you're looking to splurge on vacation in Burgundy, Hôtel Le Cep is the place to do it. We will be back!

Tremendous service, hotel and overall experience. Would recommend everyone staying in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly, they took care of us very well. Highly recommend their wine cellar tasting!

Hotel location was really good. Close to everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Spoke English well. The linens and bed mattress was not great. Uncomfortable. Pillows were flat.

The back entrance to this hotel, is beautifully unique, however the front entrance I feel, let it down slightly! The expectation we had before arriving was not met, due to having to enter through the front entrance, which is not appealing! Once inside it showcased some beautiful original features! Staff were polite & helpful and the knowledgeable barman polite and friendly also! Centrally located and ideal if you want to look around this beautiful walled French town!

Our room was a very good size however the décor was not to our taste.

The owner/manager is extremely rude to me. I was traveling with a service dog and he didn’t understand that a service dog should stay for free in a hotel. I was explaining to him that I’ve stayed in many hotels in Europe and his hotel was the first one that doesn’t know this. He’s attitude was unprofessional and he is a grumpy character. Besides, this hotel is not good for older people nor people with disabilities. One of the receptionists was also rude. She argued that I should pay for the service dog to stay with them because the hotel provided a dog bowl and a few treats.
