Although the hotel is a bit out of town the positive to this is that there is more space and it has wonderful gardens which can really be enjoyed on a sunny day. The shuttle service is very convenient so getting in and out of Ascona or Locarno is not an issue either. I found the facilities excellent and enjoyed the outdoor pool, gym and sauna area. I only ate one meal at the hotel so cannot comment on restaurants but they seemed well attended and had a good energy.

I had specifically asked for a quiet room in advance as I am a light sleeper. I slept very badly the first night as apparently there is a nightclub nearby so I was disturbed until 5AM. I mentioned it to the staff and thankfully they had the space to move me to the other side of the hotel which is much quieter. I really appreciated this gesture and it made all the difference, however if they were full then the club would have been very disruptful. It is worth noting that there is little soundproofing to the rooms. I also found that the CHF 35/ night charge for a pet as very excessive. I can understand paying extra for a final clean but this was too much. The staff were however accommodating and welcoming to guests traveling with pets. All staff were exceptionally friendly except one lady working around the pool bar, who I found a bit rude.

Tout est parfait, à commencer par le personnel au petit soin pour nous, les lieux, jardins, piscine. petit-déjeuner généreux, varié. Excellente qualité de la nourriture

Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und doch nah zum Zentrum Ascona gelegen (mit Velo etwa 5 Minuten). Der gepflegte Wellnessbereich, das grosse Gym, der Aussenpool,alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir waren im Wellness und Gym meistens alleine. Ist also nicht überlaufen. Toll ist auch der Shuttlebus, der immer zur Verfügung stand un duns nach Ascona oder Locarno fuhr. Erwähnens- und lobenswert ist auch das Essen- himmlische Küche in einem akzeptablen Preissegment- Verhältni sstimmt absolut!!! Auch sehr für Familien geeignet! Alle MitarbeiterInnen warens ehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder!
