The oceanfront room provided a great view of the water.

The property itself was exactly what I was expecting. The room was lovely, spacious, soft bed and linens. Disappointed the pool was not heated. Our first morning house keeping woke us at 8am, still sleeping from our 2am travels the day before. She never came back, keep in mind your paying a $50 a day resort fee, $20 for house keeping services, and an addition $5 for some local fee. At breakfast the female server was rude and uninviting, Please keep in mind, this resort is now credit card only, absolutely no cash transactions, with an auto gratuity on every transaction. Next dinner, I wanted the Lobster, but they were out. They were also out of the next item I requested. This is very common on this Island. I ordered a Caesar salad for $19.80 and was given a side salad. The table on the balcony got salads 4x the size of mine. When I shared my frustration with the front desk the next morning, the manager refunded the salad, they printed me a receipt, only to have them red-add the charge back on at check out. I did not review my bill at this time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEFORE LEAVING THE PROPERETY. We loved all the bartenders. The boat driver who took us to the beach bar every day was so kind. He shared lots of information, and assisted all the guests on and off the boat....make sure to throw him $$. Verify all cost before getting in a taxi, bait and switch on arrival. Also they had no medical kit, almost got hit bar a speeding car. Bought a VODKA shot to clean my wounds.

I had a king room with ocean view. Room was nice, clean and quite. Staff was nice and helpful. They do not have a beach in the proporti but they have a beach club at stocking island and a boat that can take you there.

Lovely small boutique hotel with the appropriate amenities and a friendly atmosphere of staff and guests.

I tried to book on hotel website but price was approximately $2500 more than travel sites so I booked on Priceline which was $297 a night plus $671 for taxes and fees. At check in the hotel wanted an additional $700 for an amenities fee that Priceline didn’t tell us about. The hotel is recently renovated and worth $300 a night plus the usual taxes. We had stayed there a few years ago and nothing new in amenities has been added. The lobby restrooms were out of service for the entire two weeks and the room tvs were set up for streaming only with no access to sports, news or any other networks and our US subscriptions are unavailable in the Bahamas. I would prefer the hotel just price the rooms higher if they need additional profit. I could decide either to go or not but wouldn’t feel ambushed by the so called resort fee.

We just left Peace & Plenty today n most definitely will be back! Clean rooms, good food n drinks - beach 🏖 was awesome! We came strictly to get R&R. But was happy to have grocery store n liquor store down the street. The entire staff was amazing (Modesto & Ash & Lexton & Mgr forgot her name but was extremely helpful - need a special shout out - they made made our stay extra incredible.) A huge shout out too Latroy! I came down with a UTI n he ran to the pharmacy for me n picked up medicine n brought it back to our room out of the kindness of his heart (using his private car). He did this on his own - he suggested the idea n I was extremely grateful for his kindness. This kind of behavior/service is unheard of these days!! Thank you so much Latroy!!!! Highly recommend!!! Our TV never worked in our room which wasn’t the end of the world. But staff must get that issue fixed.

Wonderful stay at Peace & Plenty. Sea-facing room was beautiful and very clean. The resort is a gateway to exploring the beauty of the Exuma. We had a fantastic stay and will be back! The staff were so helpful and friendly and the location was great. A private island was a real bonus! If you are after an indi experience that isn’t overrun by tourist, this is the place for you!

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable — but the customer service at front desk with management, and the service at the restaurant could be improved. Our commute to/from the hotel was excellent — the driver was on time, no issues. Our driver taxi #87 (I don't remember her name) was very informative about the island and possible excursions. Overall, this was a good experience, and I would recommend to visitors, but considering the price/value per night, we may consider a local Airbnb on our next visit!
