Qualton Club Ixtapa All Inclusive

Everyone from waiters to bartenders to housekeepers , security even the hands on manager were very caring and attentive.The drinks and food were very tasty.The only thing was the shower was a little cool after a long day other than that this resort was a wonderful stay.Definitely would recommend.

We recently stayed here for 2 weeks and were the only non-Mexican guests at the resort. The resort is older, has a nice layout and is very clean. It is in need of lots of maintenance. Fabulous beach! We had to pay our own transportation to and from the airport. No shuttle service offered. Our room was great. Clean, spacious, great housekeeping service. It would have been nice to have a screen door so that we could open the doors at night. (we were on the ground floor) The staff are very friendly. Specifically Fabiola (front desk), Oliver (Pool bar). Eduardo (sport bar), Daniel (breakfast/lunch service) and Juan at the a la carte restaurant. Internet coverage is spotty. It only worked in our room and a few of the public spaces. For us, the biggest disappointment was the food, The resort caters primarily to Mexican guests. Being Canadian, there were often times that we had no idea what was being served at the buffet. The signage was in Spanish only and the temperature of the food was just lukewarm. The a la carte restaurant was closed the first week we were there, and was only open 3 days a week after that. The food at the a la carte was pretty good, but again, not hot. Perhaps that is the way that the Mexican people prefer their food. Not me. Would I go back? Not likely.

Bad service to the costumers since day 1 horrible place to stay no A/C on the restaurants or lobby no serving food all day no room service

The hotel is very clean, the staff very friendly and hardworking, the Mexican food is excellent, the other foods are not as good as the Mexican, the shows were great, we enjoy our time. It is a hotel with outdated facilities, for example, they do not have an ATM and it is difficult to have cash, they use a key instead of a card. Is an observation, maybe in the future they can updated, but is not a big deal, we love it

Although the property is simple it is clean and the staff are the real jewels here. They are amazing people, friendly, helpful and are all are very good at their responsibilities. Do not come here if you do not want to try speaking Spanish, or if you want some slick high end experience. But If you want to see families having fun together and experience happy people all around you, then come. The food is not great but the bartenders are amazing. We tried to tip as many people as possible, but if I could give them ALL a raise in pay, I would! Thank you Fabiola, Eduardo, Felix, Yavir, Jesus, Brenda and everyone else! we had a lovely time and my husband was a short walk from a great surf break. oxxo

Overall great experience at the hotel. The food was surprisingly good, the drinks were ok, the activities and the staff were GREAT. We had a great time, I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. Keep in mind you get what you pay for.

Best place ever The shows were great There is even contest that I almost won in. Loved the place, will definitely be coming back!! The entertainment guys were very fun and nice! If you are looking for a place to have fun with your family this is definitely a place to go!! They have activities for both adult and children! We had the chance to bring the younger ones in the family into the club hola ola and it was the best first time “clubbing” experience.

The staff are wonderful. We like the smaller, resorts. You never have to fight for chairs at the beach or pool. We were treated like royalty. This was our third time at this resort and it never disappoints. The beaches are great and you can walk for ever. The water is swimmable. Would return in a heart beat.

My husband and i stayed at the Qualton 11/17-11/25. We had a lovely room, with ocean view. The staff were all very friendly, the meals wetr tasy, there were lots of activitirs for those who wanted to participate, games in the pool, volleyball court, basketball, adult only pool. Right on the beach, which had many water sport options and parasailing! We highly recommend this place, we were the only guests from the U.S., it had a smaller, more personal feeling. No high rise buildings on the property, we had no difficulties navigating and enjoying our stay.
