Haymarket by Scandic

Frukosten var grym, älskar när man får nylagad omelett efter dina önskemål. Jag gillar att det ligger centralt, men också att det finns en riktigt schysst bar på hotellet. Trevlig personal, rena rum och supersköna kuddar (viktigt).

Kanske bara var jag och min fru som inte förstod logiken bakom, men det var svårt att hitta till rummet. Korridoren på våning 7 kändes som en labyrint och numreringen på rummen kändes slentrianmässigt utplacerade. Men jag ska inte ljuga, nog hade vi också tagit ett par glas när vi letade efter vårt rum.

Property centrally located in city center and very close to the Metro station making it easy to get to all parts of Stockholm.

I don’t know for sure but I don’t think it’s conducive for people with mobility issues. We had rooms on the 5th and 6th floors and in both cases you got off the elevator and had to walk down about 5-6 steps, and then walk around a corner and walk back up 5-6 steps. If you have difficulty with mobility this may be a challenge. It’s also an annoyance with heavy luggage. I’m sure they have some mobility rooms available. Still giving this a full 5 star review but just wanted to note this frustration.

Good location, spacious room and good breakfast. But not impressed with the value for money. Rooms at that price with no window feel a bit excessive.

There were some old used contact lenses on the bed side table the cleaning team missed. The stay was ok, but nothing exceptional.

Excellent breakfast

Receptionist did not return my passport to me after check-in - I did not realize at the time that I did not get it back. No-one called or tried to contact me in any other way while I stayed at the hotel (2 nights). Neither was it handed back to me when I checked out. Only after I was already on the Arlanda Express I received a call from the hotel reception that they had my passport. Why so late?!?!
