Holiday Inn Express Newport Beach by IHG

The first room i went in had a horrivle smell like vinegar. They changed my room. On the positive side the staff was very courteous and the AC worked well. However, there was a musty odor that was there. Maybe it was the bed or carpet. But overall it needed updating. By that point changing rooms was too much to deal with from a schedule standpoint The location however, is great with easy access to a lot of interesting things including the beach

This was a perfect location for a family reunion nearby. Can only say the staff was delightful and accommodating from Front Desk to Abundant Breakfast prepared and cared for by thoughtful hostess Fabiola. Room lacked nothing and comfort was all we could hope for. First time to this area such a positive first impression experienced at this property.

Wonderful hotel. Walk to dinner. Super clean rooms. Maid service awesome. But the best part is Fabiola being in charge of breakfast in the morning, she always gives a big smile and makes you feel like you're at home. She keeps the area immaculately clean & organized and the food was delicious.
