The biscochito and sherry reception was fun. The made to order breakfast was exceptional. The staff was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The location can't be beat. LOTS of interesting things within walking distance. We arrived a bit early & room wasn't ready but we were to get a call when it was ready. Never happened. We had a dated room but it was ok except the heat didn't work. Supposedly needed a new motor but still after that we didn't get "warm" air. The breakfast was good with nice selections & serve yourself coffee. I do not recommend the restaurant (Del Charro) for dinner.

"Great Stay!"

We had an incredible three-night stay at the Inn of the Governors in Santa Fe (April 2026). Our mini king suite was fantastic, complete with a charming wood-burning fireplace that made the whole experience feel extra special. What really sets this hotel apart is how authentically Santa Fe it feels. The staff were wonderful, warm, welcoming, and clearly experienced, with many having been there for years. It gave the place a genuine sense of continuity and care that you don’t always find. Breakfast each morning was a great start to the day, and the pool area is beautiful, though we did not hang out by the pool. One of our highlights was the Del Charro bar - it’s easy to see why it’s a favorite among locals. It adds a lively, social energy while still fitting perfectly with the hotel’s character. The Inn strikes a perfect balance: it offers all the modern amenities you’d want, yet fully embraces its mid-century charm and distinctive Santa Fe aesthetic. 10/10 - would absolutely recommend.

"Nice place to stay"

They said they didn’t receive request for a quiet room and put me in a room with a big truck parked on head bed wall. I requested quiet room Ck in and then again next day. They finally moved me to a quieter location

I thought the breakfast pretty ordinary. Santa Fe has such great breakfast oplaces. Breakfast could have been better. Bar food enchiladas and chili burger excellent. Sherry & cookie hour great place to meet others.
