my room wasn't cleaned and when i asked for it to be cleaned they said the time had passed - but they should have cleaned at some point of the day - or let me know that it could only be cleaned at a specific time. i had a do not disturb sign on for about 1.5 hrs but the rest of the day it was available for cleaning , but it wasn't cleaned. they were not very apologectic about the issue and with some difficulty i managed to get clean towels. one of the towels had terrible stains on it. also, the phone wasn't working so i had to go down to the reception desk to report it.

Rooms were really clean, lovely decorated and had everything you needed. Was allowed a late check out. Staff were very friendly.

We couldn’t get into the pool as it was full, this was disappointing as we booked the hotel for these facilities. As a paying guest I don’t think we should have to pay for the car park.

The hotel itself is very nice, lovely Barr, dining room, reception area. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Gym is small, pool area needs some attention, the sauna was broken when we stayed, although there was talk of a repair after we left. The garden was very overgrown and seemed to be a waste of space, it could be a lovely area to use in the sunny weather, as it is right next to the Barr.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Reception, bar and breakfast area and room were all nicely decorated and felt modern.

Booked a premium king room and whilst our room was ok, it felt more like a "cosy" king. So I wonder how small a cosy king would be!? Mattress was sagging a bit and just ok for comfort. Leisure facilities felt very tired and dated, but mostly functional.
