Staybridge Suites Memphis East Cordova by IHG

When we arrived, I walked into the lobby and my breath was immediately taken away by the overpowering smell of Marijuana. They asked for a cash depost. I didn't have any cash so I had to drive 3 miles down the road to the nearest walmart due to the hotel ATM being "out of money". Got that taken care of and we went up to our room. The linens were dirty, the floors creaked when you walked across, there was a spot on the furniture that needed cleaned due to what looked like maybe someone had peed. When we pulled the bed out from the couch I wanted to leave but it was too late in the evening by that time. It literally looked like a giant blood stain where blood seeped through the entire hide a bed mattress. My first thought was "someone probably died there". It literally looked like someone had bled to death on that mattress. There was no breakfast at all and the pool was closed. The lobby counter was dirty. There was a coffee pot in our room along with 2 cups but no coffee so we had to get coffee elsewhere. It was a terrible experience. I will not recommend it to anyone and we will not be back!

The guy at the desk was super rude. And checked my room before giving me the deposit even back. Yet didnt to anyone else staying. All because i had kids. Will not be staying again.

The hotel was nice, but when I pulled the Shower curtains back, I notice the Mold around the Tub and on the wall. The room I was in was 222.

Hotel had pictures of the pool on main description page. Pool was not working. We drove extra 30 min for this. It was disappointing. Hotel stank so much our nose hurt. Room was big, but stinky. I am glad we only stayed 1 night.

False advertisement!! There is absolutely no breakfast or swimming pool at this hotel.

The pool didnt work even tho the website said it was, there was no breakfast available. The room wasnt very clean and there were hairs in both showers. The tv didnt work and neither did the internet. Since there was no breakfast you would think there would be coffee in the room, but no

First off, the pictures of this site on Orbitz and google are deceiving. This is an older hotel that has been repainted. Not that this is an issue but it was dirty everywhere and smelled. There was mold in our bathrooms. We stayed in our rooms for about 10 minutes before deciding to burn the money and leave. We were just going up to shop at IKEA, stay the night, and go home the next morning so that part of it wasn’t that big of a deal. The stars on the reviews are also deceiving. It still has its star rating from the previous chain it was. Anyways, I expect this type of room to be listed around $35 with todays inflation.

No in door pool or breakfast and the only thing decent was rooms..

Paid online and still had to give them $100 deposit in cash. No breakfast food only cereal, tubs dirty, whirlpool jets didn't work, toilet broke, pool area closed. If you smoke or have a party in the rooms they won't give you your $100 back.
