The pictures are very deceptive. The pictures make it seem much more modern than it actually is. Rooms are old and rusty and we had a problem with roaches as well. The breakfast was limited and most of the items were out of stock. Our sheets and bed had stains on them which I can only image how long the stains have been there. The staff doesn’t want to be bothered. Any question that we asked, we were given attitude. Hallway carpets were filthy and hallway smelled like weed all day and night. We were only there for 3 days and 2 nights to attend a concert but within that short time frame, it was clear we would never come back. Homeless people were outside asking for money every time we left the building which is probably why you need a key card to get into the building. The only way I’d stay here again is if I I was homeless and someone offered to pay for my stay. At that point, beggars can’t be choosy but other than that, I’d stay elsewhere.

I really didn’t mind our stay. It was average. We had no problems parking and checking in was great and flawless. We had the room we reserved/expected and it was clean. The hotel has that stale cigarette smell that most older hotels have from back in the day when smoking was acceptable. It never comes out. Overall it was really quiet and and peaceful the door-dasher didn’t seem to have any issues dropping off the food. Unfortunately and completely out of the hotel’s control; it is located in an area that has a lot of obvious drug/homeless/prostitution. Raleigh PD (quietly) made a few appearances. This is is really unfortunate because the hotel has no control over that; but it makes the hotel feel unsafe for my vehicle and if we were planning to leave. Safety is a huge part of choosing a hotel; especially when you have children. So it was a big deal. We felt very safe in our room, but I was glad to have an alarm on my car and we didn’t have to leave until we checked out. We were even a bit worried about using the gas station in the parking lot because we saw other guests being approached. Unfortunately the hotel is a victim of circumstance, but it is something to consider. It is a good hotel for someone on a budget (we got a very good rate) and doesn’t have to worry about being approached or worse; that sort of thing. Like I said, we felt totally safe IN the hotel. But totally Sketchy to leave hotel -!even in the morning/day time.

Fue una experiencia horrible llegamos en la noche y no pudimos ni dormir ahí fue horrible todo la habitación el personal de front desk patético todo, tuvimos a las 2am irnos a otro hotel porque era muy inseguro el lugar horrible sin duda una experiencia que no quiero volver a repetir jamás! Perdí mi dinero y casi pierdo la vida cuando un vagabundo de la cálle se nos acercó pidiendo drogas y golpeaba el vidrio de la ventana
