"a big disappointment"

We choose this hotel as it was close to Brock University for home coming weekend. For some reason the rates were inflated for this weekend and we paid over $400 per night and had very high expectations. The good. The hotel was clean and the room was very clean no issues that way..The lobby presented a very inviting atmosphere The bad. I have stayed in hotels where they change the sheets every other day but they at least come in and make the beds and remove the garbage. Here I paid over $400 for absolutely no service at all. The bathroom left a great deal to be desired. It was small, now the toilet was so low that they might as well have had a hole in the floor. The toilet paper was on the opposite wall and could not be reached without getting up. Dining room. The night we arrived we ate in the dining room. The food was good and the service was excellent however there were minor hockey teams staying tin the hotel and they were running wild yelling ans screaming which carried down to the dining room. While the room was clean part of the curtain was torn off and paint was peeling on the window sill. The view. out our window as of a courtyard that was in dire neeed for an update. rooms tend to be noisy at times as the floors are not carpeted and we had people constanfly dragging furniture across the floor
