Best Western Summit Inn

Staff was professional. Good location on US 62 in proximity to Niagara Falls, Lockport Locks & Fort Niagara.

Here's the problem: The BW was clean, it just wasn't clean every day. We stayed at the Best Western Dr Summit Inn 3 nights, 6/15-17. Our room was cleaned once, & even then used towels were left in the room. We had to leave both full trash cans + used towels in the hallway for pickup. Other guests had to do the same. I inquired at the front desk about this situation. An associate told me BW implemented a, "green" policy intended "to save energy." In doing so, your management team has chosen to sacrifice customer service to trendy gimmicks, prompting guests like my wife & me to complain. Your staff is fine. Your management team needs to assess Best Western's "green" policy. Thanks for listening. R.A. Miller Indianapolis ps: Oh, I almost forgot: The continental breakfast at your Niagara Falls location was awful: runny eggs, undercooked hash browns, & their microwave sausage tasted "leathery." Great place to stay if you are visiting Niagara. We just needed 1 night to stay for a family of 8 with 4 kids, the rooms were well appointed, spacious and very clean. The bath and toilets were also very clean and fresh. The hotel allows outside food, and provided their dining area for us to use to have our food. Check in and check out process was smooth and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Nothing specific, a small downside was that the common area had only 1 microwave and so people often had to queue up to use the same.

Door in our room had a broken metal piece around the lock. People hanging out around cars in the back with lawn chairs and drinking. One of them threw up in the bushes on the side. The bed was so small, I almost rolled off it while laying with my spouse (and I'm 4'9" so not a big person).
