The staff was friendly and the lobby was updated.

The room was filthy. We had no toilet paper. Cover was stained, and the TV was broken. Beyond the dirt and grime the room was old and falling apart. Paint chipping off the walls and the door in total disrepair.

"One of the worst motel/hotel experiences of my lifetime."

Thankfully, the beds seemed to have clean sheets.

The room floor and toilet seat were FILTHY. Our feet turned black after walking a few steps; and the toilet seat was not only nasty with fresh stains underneath, it was literally falling off the toilet.
