"Major maintenance issues"

We were here for a Stay-to-play soccer tournament (this is the hotel we were assigned) and it was not good. Room reeked of cigarette smoke and Lysol, smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling, no trashcan, no tv remote, only 2 towels for a 2-queen bed room, broken handrail in shower. Other families found ticks on the floor, ants in the sheets. Major maintenance issues. Couldn't switch hotels because everything else was booked or very expensive. Good things: our sheets were clean, water was hot, breakfast was good.
