Motel 6-Charlotte, NC - University

Sketchy folks out side— my room was clean friend had shower rod falling off.. but the clerk was amazing with a smile that was contagious

The cheap price

No heat in room...bad location... homeless and drug dealers outside in the alley right by it

Was in town for the nascar weekend. Thought I’d get a “cheap” room since I was traveling alone. The room I stayed in was disgusting. Very dirty. Ceiling appeared as though it was going to cave in. The hallways smelled of urine. Outside felt very unsafe. Shady characters moving around the parking lots. Could not use the main entrance…had to use one on the side of the building where there was no parking. Many “homeless” and/or unkept appearing people right off of the property. Did not feel safe outside nor in. Thankfully my vehicle was not bothered while sleeping. Would NOT recommend this hotel nor will I ever stay there again.

I liked the price, and accessibility of dining highways access etc. I did not like the drug activity and loitering on the property by drug users and panhandlers. As for the hotel room i did not like the rodent a bug infestations.

The only positive thing about this location was the staff.

The room was filthy 😳. The building is in poor condition. Water damage everywhere!! The room didn't have a microwave. The refrigerator hadn't been cleaned in months.

There was trash in the trash can, the AC was set to 60 degrees, and the TV was on when I went into the room. But everything worked OK. This place is probably OK for one night.

Anything, overall a horrible experience

There were people fighting in the parking lot. There was a shooting across the street from the hotel and a lot of illegal drug activities. I will never stay there again. It was a waste of using my points to get this room and paying the difference. Not a safe place at all.
