Blenheim Guest House

The building was lovely tastefully renovated into accommodation I don’t know what the other rooms are like but the room we had was not the best.

Our room had a private bathroom which was crown 3 steps onto a small landing then up another 2 stairs to the bathroom. While it was a private bathroom it was not next to the room. We found this very inconvenient. The room was very basic with no outlook had to keep the curtains closed so adjoining rooms could no see in the window.

Location is good, easy walk into town. Comfortable enough, does the job. Catered to an early check in which was greatly appreciated.

Building smells of smoke, room fittings are dated, beds are mediocre comfort and not super stable. Questions and phone calls were not answered by host. Advertised as has parking, but then after booking are told where to park because there is no parking.

Zero hospitality with no contact from the host despite attempts. Bathtub with no plug. Parking was advertised but then advised no parking with a nearby public car park facility with a short walk.

The location was great ,only half a mile from York city centre and there is a Carpark near by too,Roger the owner is very nice ,friendly and Helpful too,we enjoyed our stay and will be back to York again one day and will definitely stay at Blenheim Guest house again

Nice. Comfy and slightly quirky place. Staff friendly. Location excellent.

Not so easy to work in so plan downtime for the evening- not a bad plan.

We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a 4 poster bed. It was lovely and very clean.

Nothing
