Super kind staff, the hotel room was ok, and the location was good. They gave me a take away breakfast since I was leaving early. A good experience overall.

It was super cold at night. Even though I turned off my air conditioning, I think I could feel the cold from all the others on my floor turned on. I wasn't prepared for that. Wifi only works in the room.

Hotelli on kuin ”tuulahdus 1980-luvulta”, mutta tämä oli jo tiedossa varausta tehdessä. Erinomainen sijainti Luceros-aukion lähellä, missä mm. lentokenttäbussi pysähtyy. Rautatieasema ja ratikka-asema myös lähistöllä, joten pääsee näppärästi muuallekin. Lähin Liiteri on noin 2 km:n päässä, jossa on itsepalvekassat käytössä. Huoneessa oli myös jääkaappi, mikä oli mukava yllätys. Osassa huoneita sellainen siis on, joten kannattaa laittaa varausvaiheessa toive sisään jääkaapillisesta huoneesta, mikäli sellaista kokee tarvitsevansa. Aamiainen on ok hintaansa nähden, mutta jokainen testatkoon luonnollisesti sen itse.

Hotelli vaatisi tosiaan remonttia, mutta asia oli varausvaiheessa tiedossa. Äänieristys on vaatimaton ja etenkin paikalliset asiakkaat puhuvat todella äänekkäästi käytävillä jopa öiseen aikaan, mutta kuulunee kulttuuriin. Oma huone oli sisäpihan puolella, niin liikennemelu ei häirinnyt. Suosittelen herkkäunisille korvatulppia, mikäli päätätte majoittua hotelliin.

The hotel is located right in the city center, making it very convenient to get anywhere. The rooms have air conditioning, and the temperature was comfortable. The area was quiet in the evenings. I liked that the light switches were located next to the bed, making it easy to control the lights without getting up. The mattress was comfortable. There is a bidet, a mini fridge in the room, and a small smart TV. The staff were friendly, especially the girl at the reception desk, who was always smiling and polite. The reception is open 24 hours a day. There is also an elevator. The rooms were cleaned every day (including floor cleaning), and the towels were changed daily. Sometimes we left valuable items in the room, and nobody touched them. The lobby smelled pleasant every day. There are additional guest lounges where you can hold small meetings or simply relax on a sofa. There is also a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor, although we did not try them, so I cannot comment on the quality. Overall, I can say that the hotel felt safe.

The rooms are in need of renovation. Besides the outdated appearance, there are many cosmetic issues. Many of the switches worked poorly or did not work at all. The door handles were loose. Some furniture surfaces were damaged by moisture, and in general, all the furniture felt very old. The lighting in the room was quite weak. The air-conditioning controls were inconvenient to use. The bed was squeaky. The free Wi-Fi was extremely slow. Media content often would not load, and sometimes it was difficult even to send a message. Occasionally, the connection disconnected by itself. The room description states that there is a safe in the room, but no key is provided. To use the safe, you have to rent a key from reception for €2 per day. This was the first time I have seen something like this. If the safe cannot be used without an extra charge, it should be clearly explained in the room description or removed this option. The walls have very poor sound insulation. You can hear normal conversations from neighboring rooms. For two nights, one of the neighboring guests made noise throughout the entire night, making it impossible to sleep. I asked the staff to speak with the guest, but unfortunately the situation did not improve. In my opinion, this is a significant drawback.
