Loved the history of this hotel. Very comfortable and an amazing breakfast.

Excellent location to visit Lake Louise walking distance and nice breakfast

Love the quirkiness and the history told thru the photographs.

Short walk to Lake Louise. Room was clean with two double beds. Parking was somewhat limited. Dining room menu had limited number of items.

Deer Lodge was a great find in Banff National Park. Peaceful and comfortable accommodation close to but away from the crowds of people at the Fairmont and Lake Louise. Great restaurant and staff. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is little bit outdated because it’s ages, but the staffs are nice and work efficiently.

Our room was downgraded due to renovations and we were not told until we arrived. We were compensated with two free dinners, which was fair, but we weren’t given advance notice in case we didn’t want the small bed that we were given, which was unpleasant. Also, The cold water top in the sink in our room did not work properly and the windows were in dire need of being cleaned. And the ice machine didn’t work.

Wish the terrace pool was open it would have been a memorable experience. The breakfast was awesome. Closer to lake Louise by walking. Overall quite good
