The location is amazing, plus all the facilities including the swimming pool are great!

Sometimes you have to wait for your order for more than hapf sm hour even if it this a cup of coffee and a cheese cake

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel. From our arrival to our departure, nothing was too much trouble for the fantastic staff working in this hotel. It was clear that the focus in this hotel is to ensure its guests enjoy their stay and every effort is made by them to achieve this aim. We had a late arrival and were still able to get something to eat and drink at the bar (bar food operates until 1am) which was very much appreciated. We had a family room which had a small balcony and a huge double bed and bunk beds for the children, very comfortable and adequately sized. Fab rainfall shower in the bathroom with Molton Browne products. Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels provided (as required) daily. Very good selection of TV channels including a good number of English speaking channels. We enjoyed a few meals in the bar and in the restaurant and the food was delicious, particularly the food on the Mexican themed night. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. The pool area is very relaxing and pool towels were provided for use during our stay. The gardens and golf course are simply beautiful and sitting by the pool was an oasis of calm and beauty. I would particularly like to mention Catarina, Michelli and Vasco at reception who were incredibly helpful to us when we required their help during our stay.

We had an amazing family holiday here. I can't fault this hotel. The staff are always friendly and smiling which gives the hotel a warm and friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The family room was a good size. The double bed was huge. The hotel was spotless from the pool area, the corridors and the rooms. There is a lovely walk between this hotel and their sister hotel. They have different food choices every night and the breakfast is lovely with a wide variety of items. Cascais shopping area and Lisbon are both close and Uber is cheap and reliable. This is a lovely place if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in the sun. We will definitely come back here again.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful - the staff, the food, the cleanliness, the grounds, the calm. Check it was welcoming and genuinely warm and totally professional. Brilliant first impression. Our room was almost scandi in design, very neutral and natural. The room was spotless every day and serviced reliably. With a teenager, we spent a lot of time around the pool and the staff could not be more attentive or helpful. No fighting for lounges or lounges saved with towels, just a relaxing space amongst the trees with a golf course view and the pool in front of you. The area was gorgeous and we walked every morning from the hotel through the very safe suburb to the beach and along the boardwalk looping back to the hotel. Breakfast was fresh, healthy with an abundance of options. A special mention to the breakfast manager who was possibly the friendliest happiest person I’ve come across working at a hotel. It was a wonderfully positive way to start each day. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were on hand ready to help. Coffee was great too! Costs about €5 to head into town which was a far easier option than driving and parking, even though we had a car. Recommend if you’re there in July or August that you book your restaurant ahead of time as walking in is next impossible for the more popular restaurants. The hotel is located in, probably the most expensive area in Cascais and there’s a wonderful central location to visit sintra (35 mins) and Lisbon (40 mins by car or 1 hour by train). Cascais itself is absolutely gorgeous and the food choices amazing. The beaches were spotless, water crystal clear and lovely to see families and kids playing and making a day of it. A thoroughly wonderful stay thanks in most part to this hotel. Pro tip- we visited their sister hotel a short walk called the Onyria Boutique hotel and it wasn’t nearly as nice. It’s definitely newer but far more clinical the staff were not as warm or friendly and was more of a business hotel. This hotel is far better and better value for money. Thanks to all the staff who made our family vacation wonderful. We plan to be back with our extended family next year. If you haven’t booked this hotel yet and they’re still looking for a hotel in Cascais this one is amazing.
