"A good stay but the pool situation..."

The hotel itself is very nice & clean. However, the rooms are a bit run down and old feeling. I found the bed to be quite uncomfortable. There was construction going on, so perhaps a refurb is happening. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! Our one issue was with the pool. There are 2 different companies that do swim lessons in the pool most weekday afternoons from around 4 - 7:30pm. Even though the kids could still swim, they only had a small area of the pool they could use during lessons and it was obvious that the swim instructors would rather our kids not be there. This should have been disclosed on the web site or at check-in. We chose this hotel because it's one of few in Milford with a pool, so it was disappointing not to be able to use it a lot of the time.

Restaurants on site are very convenient.

Carpets are worn and stained with frayed leather furniture. Not what you expect for the price.
