The downstairs restaurant is exceptional with super friendly staff .. fab atmosphere even as a single traveller

Smell. The cooking fat permeated the entire priori. Sticks to your cloths and hair and is just horrible

Absolutely wonderful restaurant and accommodation upstairs,staff are wonderful and friendly.

The bedding was spotless with mattress and pillow protectors. Check easy and we like self check, clear instructions for arrival via email. Kitchen facilities fine, water and milk in fridge a lovely touch. Nice clean towels. Very near trail station which is a positive.

There had clearly been a leak in the bathroom that had been dealt with but still smelt unpleasant and floor needs replacing as does the shower base. The whole place is a bit tired and needs a new coat of paint and a deep clean. Worth noting the pub opposite was very noisy into the early hours - this did not bother us personally.
