Hotel Sagar Plaza

Inexpensive, clean, convenient to restaurants and shopping. It is getting old and could use some updates but the price probably just covers basic upkeep. Only one restaurant is onsite and drink choices were really limited. No real complaints. Staff is very helpful and airport transfers were good.

poor quality of room - room phone not working so each time a query go down. Air condition control not working so too cold and cant even switch off ...poor poor despite them saying i was upgraded - if this was the upgraded room i wonder what the room which i booked would have been!! surely not going next time as its been getting worse and worse

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed, plz put the true pictures on hotel.com, they are highly edited... Hotel in 26years old and needs a overhaul badly.... Everything is old and gloomy

Would not like to stay here again

It doesn't really match up to the pictures shown. I was disappointed by the hotel: 1. Room linen not in good condition 2. Breakfast area badly managed, shortage of fruits etc. 3. Staff incorrectly calculated my room rate, assuming double taxation!

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful hotel needs a facelift

Both I and my sister had a cofortable stay. The room service was fast and good. People at the reception were pleasant and helpful. The bell boys were extremely helpful.The retaurant people were kind and helpful. However, could do with a bit of smile.The hotel needs a prominent name board. Do you know that there is a huge beehive on the front ceiling?

The Hotel is located off M.G. Road, close to the S.G.S. Mall in Pune. About 2.5 kms from the Pune Railway Station. The room size is good. The bathroom is clean including the linen. The breakfast spread had many options. It tasted just fine. The room service is timely. There are a few drawbacks for this place though: The rooms are tad bit overpriced. The wifi in the rooms has terrible speed. The size of the bed is small compared to the room size.

Sagar Plaza is one of the oldest hotel in Pune. Its located just off Main Street and East Street, right across the SGS Phoenix Mall. Some of the rooms are renovated and quite modern. Unfortunately there are several rooms which need to be renovated and lack basics (read, sufficient plugs for charging, old bath tubs, beds etc). Breakfast spread is quite good. Staff is very good. Ample parking space is available.
