The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace

The staff treated us with great professionalism and enthusiasm. All the team was super helpful but we especially cherish getting to know Sahil, Shubodeep, Rohan (absolutely opened up new experiences for us in the region with his recommendations!) Neha, Rajashree, Deepak, Langli and Rachel. The house keeping staff was efficient and kept us in a clean and comfortable room all through our stay. The property had fantastic views, excellent food, Rajastani dishes dishes and is truly great value for money!

The food and service was great. The staff went above and beyond to cater to the needs of the family. The hotel seems a little dated, but the views are stunning

Best location it's on the banks of fatehsagar lake and peaceful, huge garden. Food is good quality and the staff is very cooperative, eager to help. The captains take a good care of all the guest.

I stayed at Lalit, Udaipur for 3 days. The overall experience was memorable. I am sitting here at its Padmini restaurant. This is my last day today and I am already missing the place. The staff, Mr Joydeb, Kuma, other interns were extremely warm and welcoming. Chef Sanjay, Chef Man Singh and Chef Bhawani served us of the most delicious meals of our lives. The atmosphere of the properly is homely. It provided us staycation in true sense. Come here to enjoy what we experienced here!

I absolutely loved my time at the Lalit. The propert is fantastic. And I’ve yet to experience the wonderful hospitality I’m an early morning person. And I would get my customised coffee A special thanks to Kuldeep who made everything so seemless and so helpful to my specific food requests. They all at the restaurant are so hardworking and yet have a smile on their faces. And so willing to help. All the ladies at the restaurant a special thank you. Cheers

Outstanding. Paradise on earth. The view is incredible. But the staff makes it that much more enjoyable. Kuldeep in the Restaurant is extremely friendly and helpful I could have stayed in any of the five star hotels. Am I glad I chose the Lalit. Very serene and it make you forget all the woes and worries. The only slight blemish is the bathrooms should have shelf space to keep your toiletries and ladies make up stuff. But a very very small issue compared to the overall ambiance. Food wise Lal Maas is great (goat mutton curry) and not too spicy even for the squeamish palate. Mr Sahil the manager has outdid himself in his hospitality. In short this place make you feel at home albeit a luxurious one😂

We decided to go to The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Hotel for two reasons. It was the same hotel that we had gone for our honeymoon 43 years ago. And it had very good reviews. When I mentioned to the hotel's duty manager Rohan that we are coming after 43 years to Udaipur (first time after our honeymoon), they gave us a welcome like we were a celebrity. General Manager Mr. Arjun Belliappa, Duty Manager Rohan, and his whole staff were outside to welcome us with a flower bouquet, traditional tikka ceremony, and welcome drinks. Mr. Arjun also left a nice welcoming handwritten note in our room. The hotel has an excellent view of Fateh Sagar Lake. The whole staff member was always on their feet to assist us. Special shout out to Jaydev (at Padmini restaurant), Bharat, and Madhur as housekeeping staff. It is hard to remember everyone's name, but everyone from front door person in a traditional dress to the General Manager was very kind and attentive. Food at Padmini was very good and also drinks while watching sunset from outside. We recommend this five-star hotel to anyone who values excellent food and service at a reasonable price.
