Fort Washington Inn

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Very helpful, polite, and respectful. Garbage was emptied Bed seemed to be cleaned & shower.

It had a very peculiar smell throughout the hotel+ in the room, Id say closer to worse than better. The sink was filthy with brown spots & toothpaste stuck to it. I felt a little unsafe inside, I had to check under the bed to ease my paranoia, and it was dusty with some trash under there. It seemed skeevy & a little gross. My partner was worried there might be bugs in there. The outside of the building seemed a lot cleaner than the inside. The door behind the check in desk was extremely scratched and damaged- which is what made me feel unsafe, almost looked like someone once tried to break into there once before & door was never replaced. The smell and quality of furniture/walls/floors was unsettling. They didnt have any tissues in the room, and it just seemed low quality all around - for the price paid

Staff is great. Free breakfast is a nice add to an already reasonable rate. Room clean and just enough furniture for you to be able to utilize and yet room is spacious and not cluttered.

Stay away from this place. Dirty nightstands, a clogged bathtub, and unclean floors. It was a big mistake to choose this hotel for a stay. Raised 3 requests to unclog the bath tub. NO ACTION was taken by the staff.

The elevator was broken and had to use the stairs. That was difficult. We were on the 3rd floor. Tracy was NOT friendly and actually rude and not cooperative. Breakfast was not good!!! Trying to get extra towels was not easy. The first room we went to the lock on the door didn’t work. After we settled in the lock never got fixed so they moved us to a new room. Shower curtain had holes and the water went on the floor! NO Kleenex in the WHOLE building. My family was sick and needed Kleenex they had to use toilet paper!!

The lady at the front desk was exceptional. She was very friendly and helpful. She actually made my stay wonderful and was able to get me a room. I did enjoy my stay I would definitely stay again if she is there. I really wish I could remember her name.

Booked a room with two beds, got one and an uncomfortable sofa bed Elevator out of service and only one for guest to use

Was told upon arrival that maintenance had left for the night, and any issues would have to wait until the morning. Flushed the toilet in my room and water very rapidly ran from the bottom of the toilet.. This is considered BLACK WATER. Decided to check out the next morning.. Person at front desk that morning said that I should have called maintenance. When I explained what the manager said about maintenance issues having to wait until the next day, she shrugged her shoulders. Room was also very dirty and I witnessed multiple cleaning staff sitting in rooms watching TV instead of cleaning. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS BEST WESTERN!!!

I stayed at this hotel as I was going to the Keswick theartre to see a concert and wanted to avoid a long drive home. The location was perfect. The staff were friendly. The room was beautiful! I love the laminate floor, the matress and bedding were comfortable ( I would buy the matress and bedding if I knew who made them) . It was just very tastefully done. Clean. Had diet coke for sale in lobby! The breakfast was great and the staff were helpful. I look forward to staying here again!
