Spark by Hilton Destin

Location is great — you’re practically across the street from Henderson State Park and close to shopping and plazas.

Our first room had what appeared to be a smudge of blood on the headboard and sand in the sleeper sofa. Staff responded quickly, cleaned it, and offered to move us to another room, which we appreciated. The second room was clean but had a strange smell. Breakfast was disappointing compared to our stay two years ago. It used to be great for the price, but now it’s mostly cereal and bagels. We paid about $500 more than our previous stay and unfortunately didn’t feel the experience matched the higher cost. We do not plan to book this property again.

I love how it had plenty of room and it was clean. The area it was in was perfect walking distance and convenient.

I love how it has a stove.

Close to food options and the beach.

Noisy people upstairs banging on the walls.

The room was spacious and had a nice kitchenette. Beds were very comfortable.

The guest laundry was hot and had trash on the floor and overflowing on the floor.
